Animals & Livestock
It’s a proud moment for young Livestock exhibitors when they walk into the sale ring with their animal at the Solano County Fair Junior Livestock Auction. When the prized animals are sold, the rewards for a year of long, hard work are realized.

A livestock project is one of the most valuable tools for teaching responsibility to any youth in society today.

Family Ag Day
Calling all curious minds and budding farmers! Kick off the Solano County Fair with a down-home celebration at Family Ag Day. This FREE event with your fair ticket purchase, and is your opportunity to get hands-on with agriculture, meeting the farmers who grow our food and the amazing animals they raise. From live demonstrations to interactive exhibits, Family Ag Day is a fun-filled adventure for the whole family, sparking a love for agriculture and where our food comes from. Junior Livestock Auction
Get up close with farm animals and participate in the Junior Livestock Auction on Saturday, June 14th! From majestic horses and cuddly rabbits to impressive livestock exhibits, the Solano County Fair offers a dazzling array of animal exhibits. Learn about agriculture, different breeds, and maybe even make a new furry friend!
