CONCORD, NH - On July 28, 2025, Governor Kelly Ayotte released the following statement on the Public Utilities Commission decision to allow utility rate hikes for Granite State families:

“I’m extremely disappointed in the recent decision by the Public Utilities Commission. We should be ensuring the regulatory process is transparent, accountable, and protects Granite Staters from rate hikes. In the meantime, I will continue working with the Legislature to promote an all-of-the-above energy strategy so we can expand options for consumers and lower energy costs for working families.”
