Calling all art enthusiasts! We are thrilled to announce the first-ever Statesboro Festival of the Arts. Set to take place in March 2025, this brand new festival will celebrate creativity and showcase the incredible talents of artists from Georgia and beyond. Join us for an unforgettable experience featuring over 20 booths filled with artwork, live performances, and a delicious selection of food.

Kimberly Riner, Visual Arts Director for the Averitt Center for the Arts, remarks, "We are very excited to host Statesboro's first fine arts festival. This has been a labor of love for many partner organizations in Statesboro. We are thankful for the involvement of Visit Statesboro, the Downtown Statesboro Development Authority, Georgia Southern University, Statesboro Bulloch Chamber of Commerce, the City of Statesboro, and the Statesboro Regional Art Association. Without their support, this event would not come to fruition."  

Participate in Our Multimedia Art Contest

The Statesboro Festival of the Arts will also host an exciting multimedia art contest with incredible prizes. Whether you're an art student, a hobbyist, a professional artist, or just someone who loves to create, we invite you to apply and showcase your work! The deadline to apply is December 1, 2024.

Riner says, "We anticipate artists from around the country bringing their artworks to Statesboro to share with our community. We need the community to come out and show their support of this exciting, inaugural event. They won't want to miss it!"

Contestants in the art contest are eligible to win prizes ranging from $200 to $2,000. Whether you showcase your talents or simply enjoy the experience, there will be countless opportunities to immerse yourself in the creativity of the Statesboro community at this event.
