Stowe Story Labs is a 501c3 nonprofit dedicated to helping emerging screenwriters, filmmakers, and creative producers get their work made and seen. They do this through labs, retreats, ongoing mentoring programs, online feature and TV writing programs, fiscal sponsorship, and now through their short film production grant. We have partnered with Stowe for six years to offer the Stowe Sidewalk Narrative Lab during our annual Sidewalk Film Festival and highly recommend this opportunity. 

The grant will be curated by Stowe, which will make mentoring available on all aspects of producing and distributing a short film. All you need to apply is a short film script (recommended 15 pages or less).

We are pleased to share this terrific opportunity that helps screenwriters, filmmakers, and creative producers develop skills, elevate their profile, and make a compelling film. Judges include Oscar Winning Filmmakers of An Irish Goodbye, Tom Berkeley and Ross White; Writer and Director of the Award Winning Film Our Father the Devil, Ellie Foumbi; and Creative Producer Alex Boden of Sense8 and Tokyo Vice, among others.
