The Cottage Farm Stand & Baking Co. is back for the second year with their Strawberry Festival that is planned in June. In addition to all manner of strawberry-themed food and treats, the festival will feature a huge vendor fair with over 100 participating local artists and businesses. There will also be a petting zoo, pony rides, many family fun activities and award winning entertainers, all day, both days.

The Festival will kickoff on Saturday with country artist Emmalee Chinn, followed by country artist and local American Idol contestant, Dakota Hayden and rounding out the afternoon with high-energy, harmony-driven, genre-bending trio -The Sam Gyllenhaal Band. Sunday’s lineup includes Owensboro’s own, Madeline Wilkerson, local bluegrass favorites Kentucky Shine and closing with Nashville singer and songwriter Annabel Whitledge.

Strawberry-themed food will of course be one of the major offerings at the festival. There will be a make-your-own strawberry shortcake station, cakes, cobblers, snacks and desserts like coffee bars, muffins, cotton candy and cake pops; and several drink options such as slushies in a special strawberry shaped cup, specialty lattes and lemonade.

New this year is the addition of many food vendors, offering options such as Pork from the KY Pork Producers, Seafood, Mac & Cheese Boats, Mexican, Hot Dogs and Ice Cream to name a few. The Cottage will be featuring its “Owensburger” and tater tots, seasoned, loaded or pizza along with Kolaches.

Dates: June 10-11, 2023

Times: 9 am to 6 pm on the 10th; and 9 am to 4 pm on the 11th.
