Streator Liberty Fest is a vibrant community event featuring a variety of activities for all ages. The fest kicks off with the Run for Glory 5k race that sets the tone for the day's festivities. Attendees can explore numerous vendors offering a diverse selection of goods and treats. Kids can partake in special events tailored just for them, ensuring a fun-filled day for the whole family. The cookout adds to the festive atmosphere, providing delicious food for all to enjoy. A highlight for many is the World of Bounce section where children can expend their energy while adults relax and socialize. The fest culminates with a colorful parade, bringing the community together in a celebration of liberty and unity.

Saturday, June 29, 2024

8am  - Run for Glory 5K race

9am to 6pm - Vendors open in Park

10am to 1pm  - Kid's corner (free Kid’s Activities)

10:30am to 12:30 pm - Live Well Streator Events on the Plumb Pavilion

10:30 a.m. - 11 a.m. Kicking us off is Zena from the Streator Family YMCA who will be teaching kids and parents how to have fun exercising together!

11 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. Wok with Tak will be showing kids and parents how to make fried rice.

11:30 a.m. - 12 p.m. Susan Glassman from the University of Illinois Extension: Bureau,LaSalle,Marshall & Putnam Counties will be teaching the kiddos how to make veggie dipper cups.

12 p.m. - 12:30 p.m. Need some plant and gardening tips? Danchris Nursery will be demonstrating how to maintain your plants.

Go, Slow Whoa food game AND come roll the BIG Dice to be in the drawing for one of 4 bicycles!

11am to 6pm  - Cookout by Streator Fest Committee

12pm to 6pm -  World of Bounce ($10 for the day, $15 for two days)

2pm - Crowning of Little Miss Sparkler and Mr. Firecracker on Streator City Park Stage

2pm to 6pm Radium City Rebels on the Plumb Pavilion
