Celebrate the Ocean!

Join us in September for Ocean Fest Oysterpalooza & Benefit Music Festival! 

Friday, September 20 - Oysterpalooza: 

An evening of local oysters, beer & wine, live music featuring some of the region’s top bands, eco-exhibitors, and more!

Join us at Soundside Park for a night of oysters, beer & wine, local eats, and killer live music from some of the region’s top bands! Your ticket gets you into the event AND a dozen local oysters! Hungry for more? We’ll have a handful of tasty local food trucks on site! Thirsty? We’ll have craft beer, wine, and seltzers on draft. For the kiddos, we’re teaming up with our friends from Sturgeon City Environmental Education Center to offer a free kids zone! And, of course, we’ll have eco-exhibitors on-site to educate folks on how to better protect our beloved marine environment! This is a fun community event, and kids under 10 are free!

Get super stoked for this Retro Surf Contest in Surf City, NC!

Join us on the beach for the Ocean Fest Vintage Surf Contest, presented by Salty Turtle Beer Co., for a unique and fun surf-off experience! We’ll have eco-exhibits and fantastic surfing on cool retro boards. You’ll want to check this out!

This event is not your typical high-stress surf contest. Participants will ride vintage mid-length surfboards from the 1960s and 70s, adding an exciting retro twist. Before each heat, contestants will be randomly assigned a board from our curated collection of over a dozen retro sticks – some more unique than others. Don't miss out on this opportunity to showcase your skills on various vintage boards and enjoy a day of fun and funky surfing! Please follow along and read all about it on Open Heats here!

Come jam all day with us for the Ocean! We’ll have a vendor market for you to explore, eco-exhibits for you to see and learn some new things, food trucks, and beverages of all types!

Get ready for the Ocean Fest Music Festival! We've handpicked the hottest bands from all over for an unforgettable day of music. But that's not all - we'll also have local vendors, eco-exhibitors, and a variety of food trucks to make your experience even more incredible (READ BELOW!). And when you're feeling thirsty, stop by one of our bars serving craft beer, wine, and seltzers.
