2025 Festival Volunteer Shifts Available Now!

The Sweet Pea Festival thrives thanks to its dedicated volunteers. Working just a three-hour shift grants you a free weekend wristband to the festival, allowing you to enjoy the festivities before or after your shift.

We still need more than 250 volunteers. Check out the available shifts below:

• Children’s Activities (July 24 – August 3): Assist with creative projects like face painting, tie-dye, and woodworking, making the festival memorable for kids.
• Crazy Days (July 18–19): Support this downtown Bozeman event, helping with setup, coordination, and engaging with the community.
• Main Box Office & Will Call (August 1–3): Be the first point of contact for festival-goers, managing ticket distribution and providing assistance.
• Admission Gates (August 1–3): Welcome attendees, check wristbands, and ensure smooth entry into the festival grounds.
• Festival Merchandise Sales (August 1–3): Engage with attendees by selling festival merchandise and sharing information about the event.
• Festival Set Up & Tear Down (July 31 – August 3): Play a crucial role in bringing the festival to life and wrapping it up, handling logistics and setup.
• Flower Show (July 31 – August 3): Assist in organizing and managing the beautiful floral displays, a highlight of the festival.

We’re thrilled to share that the Teen Mural, painted at the 2024 Sweet Pea Festival, is now on display in the Teen Area of the Bozeman Public Library!

Sweet Pea Art on Display This Summer

Bozeman’s summer art scene is about to bloom! This year’s Sweet Pea Festival Summer Art Show will be on view at the Bozeman Public Library (626 E Main St) throughout the month of August, showcasing a wide range of local artwork celebrating creativity and community. There’s still time to get your work in! Submissions for the Summer Art Show are open — don’t miss your chance to be part of this beloved tradition. Submit your work here.

And new this year...
ERA Landmark Real Estate (8 E Main St) will host a special July exhibition featuring the top 25 Sweet Pea Festival poster designs, along with the top 5 children’s and top 5 adult T-shirt designs. It’s the perfect sneak peek at the designs that shape the look and feel of this year’s festival!

Other Sweet Pea Festival Updates…

- The Sweet Pea Parade registration is available now! Sign your organization or business up for a parade float. It’s only $25!

- The Sweet Pea Children’s Run is being organized by the City of Bozeman.  Parents can register their kids here.

- The Big Sky Wind Drinkers are putting on the Sweet Pea 5k/10k and 5k handcycle race. You can find more info and register here.

- Chalk on the Walk will be held all day on Tuesday July 29th on Main Street. Decorate the sidewalks of Downtown Bozeman with your own artwork. Chalk will be handed out from 9:30-10:30am at the Jacob’s Crossing lobby at 424 E. Main Street.
