SEVIERVILLE, Tenn. (Oct. 6, 2025) – Tanger Outlets Sevierville will host a PINK Boot Drive on Oct. 24 from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. in recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. The event will feature a photobooth, giveaways and a ribbon wall to share memories and support, while bringing the community together to improve outcomes and save lives for those impacted by breast cancer.

The mission of the Dr. Robert F. Thomas Foundation’s Paint the Mountains Pink campaign is threefold: awareness, education, and screening. The campaign raises awareness about the importance of mammography and early detection while educating the community on the lifesaving impact of regular screenings. It also provides screening mammograms for Sevier County residents who cannot afford them and supports cancer care at Covenant Health LeConte, including funding for equipment upgrades.

Throughout the month of October, shoppers are also encouraged to donate $10 through Tanger.com and receive a TangerPink card offering 25% off a single item. Participating retailers include more than 90 of Tanger’s top brands, such as Polo Ralph Lauren, Michael Kors, Under Armour, and kate spade. All donations made via Tanger’s online donation campaign directly benefit the Breast Cancer Research Foundation® (BCRF), the largest private funder of breast cancer and metastatic breast cancer research in the world and the highest-rated breast cancer research organization in the country.

At Tanger centers nationwide, 100% of donations from both local and national fundraising efforts will go toward breast cancer research and programs. The annual TangerPink campaign has raised over $19 million since 1994 in support of breast cancer efforts. Through our partnership with BCRF since 2011, Tanger has funded over 95,000 hours of lifesaving research.
