Hear the winners read their works on Tuesday, April 25 at 6 p.m.
The Tempe Public Library is thrilled to unveil the Tempe Writers Forum v.9, a collection of works from high school students, college students and adults. Join the library as we celebrate all the winners from the 9th annual Tempe Writing Contest. Hear them read from their winning entries and meet the panel of reviewers from ASU that read all the submissions and selected the winners. Light refreshments will be served.
If you can't wait to hear the winning stories, you can check out Tempe Writers Forum v.9 now, (we also have volumes from previous years) or download a copy of the book on April 25.
The Tempe Writing Contest is presented by the Tempe Pubic Library in partnership with Arizona State University (College of Integrative Sciences and Arts) and the Friends of the Tempe Public Library.
Tempe Writing & Cover Design Contests
The Tempe Writing Contest is an annual contest that accepts submissions of original works of fiction, creative nonfiction (including memoirs and essays) or poetry. The Tempe Cover Design Contest accepts entries for the front cover of the book where winning entries are published. The writings and artwork represent high school students, college students and adults.
The 10th year of the contest will begin accepting entries in January 2024.
