Teen Mini Mandalas

We’ll explore dot art as we create one-of-a-kind mandalas on canvas. All supplies provided. This program limited to teens in Grades 6-12.

Crafter's Meetup
Saturday, February 18 @ 2:00pm
Bring your works-in-progress for a crafting social hour. Chat and share camaraderie and ideas with others while you work on your project.

Introduction to Arduino

Introduction to Arduino covers the basics of sending code to an Arduino and building small projects. This hands-on program is open to adults and grades 6+. All participants will have their own computer. Seats are limited.

Are you looking for help learning basic computer skills? Mouse control and movement? Navigating a web browser? Attaching photos or files to e-mails?
In partnership with the Connecticut State Library, we are offering Northstar Digital Literacy assessments and workshops.
You can develop digital literacy skills at your own pace or participate in small group afternoon classes.

Winter Reading is Here!
Monday, January 30 - Saturday, February 25
Winter reading is here! Starting Monday, January 30, sign up for a month of winter and book themed fun. With weekly activities and reading logs you can earn tickets for a chance to win a variety of prizes.
Stop in each week to get a new activity sheet and a small prize from our treasure chest! Another fun way to earn tickets is by participating in library events such as our Stuffed Animal Sleepover, Book Cover BINGO and Leave a Book, Take a Book.

Take Your Child to the Library Day!

On the first Saturday in February, thousands of libraries across the world celebrate Take Your Child to the Library Day by offering free, fun, fabulous activities for families. Your local library is an ideal place for children to play, discover, make friends, and have fun and Take Your Child to the Library Day is the perfect time to discover some library magic.
Stop by the library for some special coloring sheets or come to one of the events below.
Saturday Storytime (Ages birth and up, with a caregiver) at 10:30am.
Join us for storytime fun for all ages! Storytime will include books, movement, fingerplays and songs. An optional playtime will be at the end of storytime. This event is for ages birth and up, with a caregiver.

Take a Book, Leave a Book (All ages, with a caregiver) from 12:00-4:30pm.
Drop in between 12:00 and 4:30 pm to swap any of your books for something new. We ask that the book brought be in “lightly used condition.” No registration is necessary.
