From: Arvada Kite FestivalArvada, CO - The Arvada Kite Festival is the City of Arvada’s flagship event hosted each spring by the Arvada Festivals Commission. Join us this year at Stenger Sports Complex on Sunday, April 13 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. to celebrate 20 years of high-flying fun!
The free, family-friendly event is the perfect way to celebrate the start of spring!
This year’s Kite Festival includes the following activities:
- Kite flying! Bring a kite or purchase one at the event
- Kids Zone with free inflatables, face painting and a ‘Nurf Terf’ Zone
- Kite demonstrations by professional kite flyers
- 100+ vendors, including more food trucks than ever
- Denver Museum of Nature and Science’s Curiosity Cruiser
Free parking is available on site with gates opening at 10:45 a.m. Please refer to the maps at arvadaco.gov/kitefest for more parking information. Keep in mind that on-site parking is limited, so biking, walking and ride sharing to the event is encouraged. A free bike valet will be available courtesy of Bike Friendly Arvada to keep your bike safe and secure while you enjoy the event.
