Get ready to be swept off your feet by The Brooklyn Bridge  at the Sellersville Theater on November 17 at 2pm.! This iconic band, originally formed when Johnny Maestro, the Crests’ lead singer, joined forces with Dion’s backup singers and the Rhythm Method’s horn players, is set to bring their timeless hits to the stage. Known for classics like “16 Candles,” “The Angels Listened In,” and “Step by Step,” the band also boasts hits such as “The Worst That Could Happen,” “Welcome Me Love,” “Blessed is the Rain,” “You’ll Never Walk Alone,” and “Your Husband, My Wife.” Maestro’s powerful voice and charismatic stage presence helped The Brooklyn Bridge become a beloved act, known for their rich harmonies and memorable performances. Throughout his career, Johnny Maestro was recognized for his ability to adapt and thrive in the evolving music industry. He continued to perform with The Brooklyn Bridge until his passing on March 24, 2010, In 2013, Joe Esposito joined the ensemble, ensuring that Johnny’s legacy and the cherished music of generations continued to captivate audiences. The band features original members James Rosica (bass, vocals) and Joe Ruvio (vocals), both from the Long Island garage band ‘The Rhythm Method.’ Louis Agiesta (drums) joined in the early 1970s after touring with ‘Jesus Christ Superstar.’ Martin D’Amico (keyboards, vocals) and James Sarle (lead guitar) joined in the mid-1970s. John Williams (vocals) performed with The Horizons and The Devotions. Lead vocalist Joe “Bean” Esposito, a Grammy-nominated singer/songwriter, adds a new dimension with his many hit songs and smooth R&B-tinged vocals. Esposito is best known for “Lady, Lady, Lady” from Flashdance and “You’re the Best” from The Karate Kid, as well as his collaborations with Donna Summer on “Heaven Knows” and “Bad Girls. The group has performed at major venues such as Madison Square Garden, Carnegie Hall, The Beacon Theater, and Radio City Music Hall, sharing stages with legends like Billy Joel, Tony Bennett, Dion, The Righteous Brothers, The Beach Boys, and Steppenwolf.
