Pembroke Pines resident are encouraged to share their views and join in a discussion regarding the City’s Parks and Recreation System at a special Workshop on February 7, 2023 at 6:30 pm in Commission Chambers, located at 601 City Center Way.  This is the second Workshop to be held as part of the Pembroke Pines City-Wide Parks and Recreation Master Plan. The first Workshop held early last year informed residents about the Master Plan and gathered input on what residents wanted to see for their parks.  This second Workshop will focus on the findings of the parks assessment and survey, as well as present ideas for improvements.  Resident feedback is critical to ensuring a well-defined, long-range plan for an integrated network of city parks, community facilities, walkways, open spaces, public spaces, and corridors for the enjoyment of all residents and visitors. Residents who attend are urged to bring any personal smart devices if they wish to participate in live polling done throughout the Workshop regarding some exciting concepts for the City’s park system.
