Visit our new Touch Tank for an up-close encounter with Atlantic sturgeon, whose ancestors swam through the water long before dinosaurs roamed!

Be sure to stop by the Atlantic sturgeon’s new 32-foot, 7,000-gallon habitat – located next to the North American river otters – during your next visit to the Aquarium.

Book a Group Sleepover This Fall

Imagine falling asleep as jellies float next to you and sharks prowl nearby! That’s just some of what you’ll experience during a group sleepover at The Maritime Aquarium.

With the Aquarium all to you and your friends, you’ll meet a variety of crabs, snails and sea stars at our Intertidal Touch Tank, visit our Shark and Ray Touch Pool, and go behind the scenes of our giant shark exhibit!

Before settling into your sleeping bags for the night, you can take part in some arts and crafts and watch a film in our new 4D theater. In the morning, you can see a private seal feeding demonstration and explore the Aquarium with an exciting scavenger hunt.

Know a Teen Interested in Conservation?

Students 14 to 18 years old are invited to apply for our unique

ECHO Teen Volunteer program where teens share the issues of marine debris with Aquarium guests while also participating in related work in the field with Aquarium staff.

The application deadline is Monday, September 4.
