Get Involved with this Year's International Coastal Cleanup

Join us at Veteran’s Park on Saturday, September 23 from 10 a.m. - 1 p.m. as we pick up trash and debris that would otherwise end up in our waterways!

Bags and gloves will be provided. Please wear closed-toe shoes, bring a snack and water, and be prepared to be outside for the morning. Please keep an eye on our social media in the case of weather-related cancellation

Sleep Over at the Aquarium ... Just Like Your Favorite Animals!

Imagine falling asleep as jellies float next to you and sharks prowl nearby! That’s just some of what you’ll experience during a group sleepover at The Maritime Aquarium.

With the Aquarium all to you and your friends, you’ll meet a variety of crabs, snails and sea stars at our Intertidal Touch Tank, visit our Shark and Ray Touch Pool, and go behind the scenes of our giant shark exhibit!

Before settling into your sleeping bags for the night, you can take part in some arts and crafts and watch a film in our new 4D theater. In the morning, you can see a private seal feeding demonstration and explore the Aquarium with an exciting scavenger hunt.
