Get Involved in FrogWatch USA
Frogs and toads play a crucial role in wetland ecosystems and are considered indicators of environmental health. Many frog and toad populations have been in decline, and it is important to understand the scope, geographic scale, and cause of these declines.
Get involved in FrogWatch USA a national community science project run by the Akron Zoo focused on inspiring conservation through education. Join us, Beardsley Zoo, and Yale's Peabody Museum of Natural History on February 7 or March 4 for training sessions to learn how to identify frogs by their unique calls before selecting a wetland to monitor through the spring and summer.
