In this class we will cover all of the skills and techniques to build a unique piece(s) of stained glass art using the copper foil technique. This is a perfect class for students with no experience as well as intermediate students with some experience who may want a refresher course. All levels welcome. Robbins, Brown and Green share a playful, spontaneous, and improvisatory aesthetic. Robbins will show paintings and assemblages from their Brown Series. The color brown conjures warm interiors that crack open to the outside world. Brown will show a group of masks, fetishes and sculptures that are simultaneously profound and playful. He uses repurposed and natural materials. Green will display oil paintings and mixed media collages that hum with rhythm and movement, and connection.
