The school year has started, have you returned your summer reading books? If your teen or tween has a book for MASCO's summer reading requirements checked out, be sure to return it. Don't wait until next summer's assignment to return this summer's books (it happens a lot more than you'd think)! Thanks!

Artist Reception for Janine Willwerth 

New art show for September!

Join us for this month's artist reception for our September art show featuring the work of local artist, Janine Willwerth!

"My paintings are a reflection of my love of color. My work is filled with Paths, Places and People that will always be special." For more information on Janine and her show, click here!

The exhibit will be on display from September 1 through September 30.

The Activity Room hosts meetings and library events and is not always open for viewing. Please call ahead or check our website calendar to see what’s happening daily.

This week's events:

Mah jongg: Tue 9/5, 1pm-4pm: Drop-in Mah jongg. All levels welcome, no sign-up necessary.

Craft and Chat: Tue 9/5, 5pm-6:30pm: Bring your current project to the library to work in the company of fellow crafters. This is a drop-in program, come when you can, leave when you need. Any and all crafts welcome; tables, chairs, and access to the library craft swap materials provided!

Fiber Arts Talk and Demo with Beverly Cook

Looking for more local art programs? 

Join us as we welcome back Beverly Cook to talk about her art using textiles, fabrics, and fibers to create impressive works of art! Beverly will be demonstrating her technique, and walking us through the process of this unique style of art. Come see samples, the "process" and several finished pieces, ask questions and see if the answers can encourage you to "try it!"
