From: Town Of Lynnfield

Please dispose of your Christmas Trees properly by bringing them to the DPW Yard so that they can be recycled and re-purposed.  Only Lynnfield residents with a 2022 recycling sticker are allowed.  Stickers may be purchased at the DPW at Town Hall during working hours or at the leaf yard on the Tree drop off days.  A vehicle registration is required as proof of residency.  Seniors (65+) $10; non-Seniors $20

On January 7th & January 14th, 2023, the leaf yard will be open from 7:30am - 3:00pm for Christmas tree drop off.  The leaf yard is closed all other times for the winter 22/23.

-Trees must be natural (live)

-Remove all ornaments and tinsel

-Remove lights, strands, garland, wire

-Remove spikes, bolts and stands

Trees that are flocked or frosted will not be accepted, as that material contains synthetic fibers, adhesives and other chemicals.  Wreaths, kissing balls, garland, etc. will not be accepted because they are typically put together with wire and other manmade substrates.

Happy Holidays and have a great and prosperous New Year.
