Optimist Day in the Town of Marana

MARANA- The Town of Marana has issued a proclamation to recognize February 2, 2023 as Optimist Day.

Members of the Optimist International celebrate Optimist Day around the world on the first Thursday of every February to help and bring attention to the young people making a difference in their communities.

Anyone can celebrate by volunteering in their community, teaming up with their local Optimist Club or raising awareness about the day and organization.

According to the proclamation, the Marana-Foothills Optimist Club is a local club on a mission to “provide hope and positive vision and to bring out the best in youth, our communities, and ourselves.”

The Town of Marana would like to commend the Town’s Optimists for all of their accomplishments and the impacts they have in people’s lives.
