Meet The Host

Terry Rozema is a 34-year veteran of the policing profession and has been the Town Manager of Marana for two years. He served nearly 24 years with the Tucson Police Department, finishing his career as an Assistant Chief. In January 2011, Rozema took the helm as the Marana Police Chief with a mission of providing “unparalleled service and unwavering protection and to do so with uncompromised integrity” to the citizens of Marana.

Rozema holds a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice from Calvin College. He is also a graduate of the F.B.I. National Academy and the Senior Management Institute for Police. He has been recognized for his service by way of various commendations and medals, including the Medal of Merit, Chief’s Citation of Excellence, Medal of Service, Distinguished Career Medal, and 2015 Marana Rotary Club Man of the Year. Rozema also received the Erik Hite Foundation First Responder Family of the Year Award in 2016 and the 2020 AZ Police Chief of the Year award.

Rozema is married to his wife, Kathy, and they have five children and three grandchildren.
