Happy December! The holiday season is definitely upon us!!!

I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving. I have a lot to be thankful for this year, mostly I’m thankful for all of you, this Senior Center wouldn’t be the same without each and every one of you!

We had quite a busy November and I noticed a lot of folks were here enjoying not only our regular programs but the special ones too. We will keep working on bringing you new programs. Our self defense class was well attend with about 20 people and I was told by numerous attendees that is was a great program and hopefully we will have more like it.

Lets not forget about our Second Annual Holiday Bake Sale on December 10, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Tell your friends and families to stop down and buy some baked goods for the holidays. They will get awesome baked goods and the funds we raise help supplement our budget. It’s a win, win for everyone. Remember, your baked goods can be delivered to the Senior Center on Friday, December 9th from 9 - 11 AM & Saturday, December 10th from 8 - 9:30 AM SHARP!

We will be having a Holiday Celebration on Wednesday, December 14th beginning with lunch as usual (12:00 PM) and then a few surprises and a guest from afar!!! Please join us in celebrating the holiday season.

Our December 21st Tech class will be a little different with the focus on taking better pictures with your IPhones. When you are done with this class you’ll be able to take some pretty awesome pictures during the holidays.

 Please join us for lunch on Wednesday, December 7th as the Note-ables sing Christmas Carols while we eat and maybe we can talk them into singing happy birthday to our December birthday members. Don’t forget to sign up by the Monday prior to lunch . . . Sign Up Don’t Just Show Up!!! If you can’t make it to lunch to hear the Note-ables sing, you can catch them singing Saturday, December 3, 2022 at the Hicks-Stearns Museum from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM.
