Government and Politics
January 23, 2023
From: Town of TruroTown staff would like to thank everyone who joined us for the Council on Aging Status Update and Discussion on Thursday, January 19, 2023, at the Truro Community Center. Last night we listened to many comments, concerns, and hopefully answered questions. We are confident in the future of our community services and appreciate the feedback.
To those who joined via Zoom, we apologize for the unexpected technical difficulties which resulted in poor video/audio quality. We dislike it just as much as you do and are working toward a solution for future in-person/hybrid meetings.
As mentioned during the meeting, the town is working with Community Resource Navigator Brianne Smith from Outer Cape Health Services. She can be reached at (508) 237-0132 or by email at [email protected]. Contact information will be posted on the town’s website, the COA department page, social media, as well as printed and posted at various locations.
Please stay tuned for a press release with details about our newest hire, COA Deputy Director Michelle Peterson. In the meantime, you can find links to the presentation materials below. If anyone did not return the Communication Survey handout, you may drop it off at the COA; Truro Town Hall; by email to [email protected]; or by mail at PO Box 2030, Truro, MA, 02666.
