From: Town of WaterfordEversource Scheduling Helicopter Work in and around Waterford
Dates: Flights will occur intermittently between Monday, January 9, and Thursday, February 16.
Purpose Of Flyover: We are planning to perform intermittent helicopter work to pull approximately 8.9 miles of OPGW as part of the 383 Line OPGW Installation Project between the Millstone Substation in Waterford and Hunts Brook Junction in Montville and from the Card Street Substation in Lebanon to an area off Village Hill Road in Lebanon, called Village Hill Junction.
Towns: Lebanon, Bozrah, Montville, and Waterford.
Description Of Aircraft: The aircraft from 3Phase will be a white and green, MD500, tail number: N240FL
Helicopter Take Off And Landing Areas: The helicopter will be staged at the Groton/New London airport and will be dispatched daily to the project's designated landing and refueling locations:
Lebanon: Burnham Rd. and Mack Rd. (Eversource property) and Krause Rd.
Bozrah: 35 Bishop Road and 477 Fitchville Rd.
Montville (Oakdale): 123 Route 163 and 170 Oxoboxo Dam Rd.
Waterford: Rope Ferry Rd. and Spithead Rd. (Eversource Property), 158 Cross Rd., 15 Douglas Rd., and 934 Vauxhall St.
Flight Times: Work hours will be Monday through Saturday 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., but any adverse flying conditions will require rescheduling.
