Paving the Way: A Trailnet Soiree
Save the date and get ready to celebrate! Trailnet’s annual Paving the Way Soiree returns on Wednesday, November 5, at The Hall at Olive + Oak. Tickets are on sale now! Whether you’re a longtime Trailnet member, a first-time rider, or anywhere in between, we hope you'll join us for a night of connection and celebration. Proceeds from the Soiree will fuel our mission to create healthy, active, and vibrant communities where walking, biking, and public transit are a way of life.
That evening, we’ll also present our 2025 MAP Awards, honoring Trailnet’s most exceptional Member, Advocate, and Partner of the year — people who are paving the way for a safer, more connected St. Louis. (Who would YOU nominate?)
Tell the USDOT that you support funding for bicycle and pedestrian infrastructure projects by Sept. 8
Every five years, Congress renews the transportation bill that sets national funding priorities. The current one — the 2021 Bipartisan Infrastructure Law — expires September 30, 2026. USDOT Secretary Sean Duffy wants to hear feedback on “any aspect of Federal transportation infrastructure policy to inform the surface transportation reauthorization process.” This is your chance to help ensure bike and pedestrian-friendly policies and funding are implemented.
The League of American of American Bicyclists has a helpful post about this, including what kind of comments are helpful and why. Click the button below to submit your comments.

Take the MoDOT Long Range Transportation Plan Survey by Sept. 12 to help shape the Show-Me State’s 25-year vision for transportation
The Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT) is seeking feedback on the goals and objectives for the update to their Long-Range Transportation Plan. This is a chance to encourage MoDOT to prioritize safety and resources for people who walk, bike, and use transit.
Missourians for Responsible Transportation have provided information on this survey and tips for filling it out. Click the button below to take the survey.

Want to join in on the century fun with fewer miles? The 100km Metric Century comes in at 64 miles! You'll ride through many of the same landscapes as the 100 mile Century while enjoying the same benefits and support.
Ride the Rivers is our last ride of the season — we hope to see you there!
