“The greatest president ever, right! Donald J. Trump!” - Joe Lombardo

New reports detail how July’s jobs numbers missed expectations and that in June, Donald Trump had the worst jobs report since December 2020 as past months were revised down significantly. Nevada lost 4,800 jobs from May to June. This comes as Nevada’s unemployment rate has remained the highest of any state in the nation for more than a year under Joe Lombardo. Another report found that Las Vegas saw a 11.3% drop in visitors compared to June 2024. The report found that international travel declined nearly 10% while hotel occupancy fell 6.4%.

As Trump’s reckless tariffs pummel the economy, this is the “pain” Joe Lombardo apparently wanted Nevadans to feel. Reports reveal that since Trump started his trade wars, travel to Las Vegas has declined by hundreds of thousands of visitors each month as foreign visitors opt not to come to the United States. 

Lombardo endorsed and campaigned for Trump, including calling him the “greatest president ever”.
