From: United Flagler 4thFlagler County Government, the Cities of Palm Coast, Flagler Beach, and Bunnell, and the Towns of Beverly Beach and Marineland, invite all Flagler County residents and visitors to attend the United Flagler 4th Community Celebration on Tuesday, July 4th, 2023.
The day-long celebration begins with a spectacular Stars and Stripes parade hosted by the Rotary Club of Flagler Beach. The parade will start promptly at 10:00 a.m. and follow its usual route from North 6th Street to South 6th Street along A1A in Flagler Beach.
After the parade, from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., residents and visitors can relax, take in the beautiful beach, and enjoy music and entertainment provided by SURF 97.3 FM's DJ Vern at Veterans Park. For a bite to eat, be sure to "Be Local Buy Local" by visiting one of the many local restaurants countywide.
The main event will be Fireworks Over the Runways at the Flagler Executive Airport, 201 Airport Road in Palm Coast. The community is invited to attend, and gates open at 5:00 p.m. Local dignitaries and elected officials will read the Declaration of Independence at 7:00 p.m. on the main stage, followed by the fireworks display at 9:00 p.m., which promises to be breathtaking and unforgettable.
There is no charge for entry, parking, or participation. Food and drinks will be available for purchase from a variety of food vendors. No glass bottles are permitted. The Flagler County Sheriff's Office will maintain traffic control, crosswalks, and parking along with assistance from the Palm Coast Public Works Department.
The main location for parking, including handicapped parking, will be on Fin Way off Belle Terre Parkway South. Parking on Fin Way is highly encouraged. Overflow parking will be available at Flagler Palm Coast High School. Please note that overflow parking will require guests to walk from the high school, cross State Road 100 at the crosswalk at Bulldog Drive and SR100, and continue walking to reach the entrance of the airport. This is approximately a 0.5-mile walk.
