From: Vallejo Symphony OrchestraFundraising Concert for Vallejo Symphony
A special pre-season concert will be held on October 20 at 3pm that features four musicians performing Impressions of the Americas. The four musicians (Joyce Lee and Sarah Elert, violins, Dmitri Yevstifeev, viola, Michael Graham, cello) are playing in support of the Vallejo Symphony.
The program includes String Quartet op. 96, American by Antonin Dvo?ák, Tanguedia III by Astor Piazzolla, Tango: Por Una Cabeza (used in films Scent of a Woman, Schindler’s List and True Lies) by Carlos Gardel, Manhã de Carnaval (from the film Black Orpheus) by Luiz Bonfá, and more.
The concert will be at the Vallejo Naval and Historical Museum, 734 Marin Street downtown Vallejo on Sunday, October 20 at 3pm. Refreshments will be served and concert goers can meet the musicians after the performance.
Tickets are $75 per seat and are available at the door and online at vallejosymphony.org. Tickets are limited and it is general seating.
