Vizance has officially awarded a $10,000 donation to Pathfinders, a Milwaukee nonprofit committed to empowering youth and ending homelessness. The funds will help stock Pathfinders’ street outreach vehicle with essential supplies to reach young people in crisis or cover emergency shelter stays to help teens avoid homelessness. Additionally, the award will help raise awareness about youth homelessness and the critical programs Pathfinders provides.

Initially, Vizance received a $5,000 donation through the Liberty Mutual® and Safeco Insurance® 2025 Make More Happen™ Awards program for its partnership with Pathfinders. After their story was featured on the Make More Happen microsite at www.agentgiving.com/vizance/, the community rallied with over 500 votes and comments—triggering a matching donation and bringing the total to $10,000.

“We often compete for clients, but in this instance, we all came together under one roof for the same cause: helping Pathfinders efficiently and effectively provide critical services to Milwaukee’s youth. It reinforced the idea that collaboration within our industry can create lasting change for the communities we collectively serve,” said Brandy Enger, Director of Risk Management-Select and Personal Lines, Vizance.

At Vizance, community passion and respect are two of the core values that guide their agency. It’s why Pathfinders is a natural partner, and together the two organizations are working to empower youth and end homelessness in Milwaukee. Through their Volunteer Time Off (VTO) program, Vizance associates regularly spend days at Pathfinders’ site sorting donations, organizing drop-in center and shelter spaces, and collecting essential household and hygiene items through company drives. In May, Vizance joined forces with fellow local insurance agencies to volunteer side-by-side with Pathfinders.

Throughout 2025, Liberty Mutual and Safeco Insurance will select up to 36 independent agencies nationwide for a Make More Happen Award, donating up to $360,000 to nonprofits they support. Agencies become eligible for the award by submitting applications showcasing their commitment to a specific cause.
