Are you looking for a way to get more involved in the community? Your voice and perspective are needed by local nonprofits. 

Volunteer New York!'s Board Boot Camp is a dynamic 2.5 hour training that equips you with the skills and knowledge to serve on a nonprofit board and gives you a chance to ask questions.

During this interactive session, you’ll:

- Make an impact in the communities where you live and work.

- Expand your network and collaborate with community-minded leaders.

- Gain insight into how nonprofits and boards operate.

- Apply your leadership skills to support causes you care about.

- Leave empowered to serve as an informed, effective, and purpose-driven board member.

After Nonprofit Board Boot Camp, you'll be invited to Nonprofit Board Speed Dating, where you will meet with multiple nonprofits seeking board members. These mini "dates" will be the start of a conversation to you joining a board.

During Nonprofit Board Speed Dating, you'll:

- Connect with nonprofits seeking engaged, skilled board members.

- Learn more about organizations and ask questions to deepen your understanding about their mission.

Whether you’re exploring your first board opportunity or ready to deepen your existing service, Board Boot Camp provides the roadmap to lead with clarity, commitment, and confidence!
