From: Walktoberfest Farmers and Makers MarketWith a crisp in the air and beautiful fall foliage hanging off the trees, the Fourth Annual Walktoberfest Farmers and Makers Market brings a curated selection of the Hudson Valley’s finest producers – farms, distilleries, breweries, wineries, restaurants, artists, artisans, and more – to the Hudson Valley Rail Trail and west approach to Walkway Over the Hudson State Historic Park.
ALL VENDORS ARE ON THE WEST SIDE OF THE WALKWAY IN HIGHLAND.
More than 190 vendors will be onsite to exhibit and share their products, allowing participants to support several local agribusinesses and artisans in one location.
Samples of wine, beer, and spirits from more than 25 local purveyors (21+ only) is included with general admission.
A designated children’s activity area, live music and entertainment, plus dozens of lifestyle vendors makes this an event for the whole family to enjoy.

General admission tickets are available now for only $5 per person. Children under 12 and Walkway Over the Hudson Members receive free admission!
All proceeds from Walktoberfest benefit the Friends of the Walkway nonprofit organization.

7th 7eam - renowned Hudson Valley band performing on SATURDAY. 7he 7eam is a rap, rock, and pop band from New York. Formed in 2016 by Big Bad Baragon, 7he 7eam has made its mark mostly on the live circuit, having performed at a wide variety of events including college parties, fashion shows, and fundraisers. Influenced by artists such as The Beatles, Lil Wayne, Lupe Fiasco, and Big Daddy Kane, 7he 7eam features a unique blend of musical styles. Sporting matching outfits and instruments on stage, 7he 7eam branched out into fashion and sells their merchandise at shows and online.
Music for Humanity - More music means more connections and more connections means a better world for all of us. Music for Humanity’s mission is to spread more music throughout the world by “planting” music seeds. Locally we do that by presenting the monthly Music for Humanity Free Performance Night. Nationally and globally we do it by offering scholarships to young aspiring musicians who need financial help to continue their formal education, as a music major, at any accredited college or university in the United States. Those musicians become, in essence, ambassadors for Music for Humanity. Our current mission is offering music education scholarships. We raise money for our scholarships through Concerts, Free Performance Nights and Tax-Deductible Donations. Visit our booth for a great raffle!
Tiny Bubbles Ukulele - One of the most dynamic Hudson Valley entertainers is now available at Mayfest to bring a fun and fantastic presentation to you and your event and venue. Great songs. Great music. Great FUN! Gia and her family live in the Hudson Valley. It’s ukulele like you’ve never heard it! It is bright and contemporary with current songs for her audience to join in with and expand the fun. People of all ages will enjoy and participate in Gia’s show.

Draw with the Hollicks - We are Lauren & Michael Hollick, two artists and art educators in the Hudson Valley, New York Many things inspired us to design these casual sketching meetups. As we've been using our sketchbooks at our favorite places, dozens of people would come over to us to see what we are drawing, to ask questions, and to become inspired themselves. We started ripping pages out of our sketchbooks and passing out pencils and inviting interested artists of all ages to draw with us, even using electronic translators to converse in other languages! Proud to be part of the Walkway Over the Hudson events!

Matthew Silverman - has been a professional writer and editor for over twenty years. He has authored, co-authored and edited numerous publications pertaining to Baseball, Football and sports in general. He has been a lifelong fan of Major League Baseball and the New York Mets in particular, which allows him to convey a genuine perspective of an avid fan while maintaining author objectivity. He lives in High Falls, NY.

Rose Gennaro Art - Rose is a plein air artist that captures the spirit and essence of a landscape or subject by incorporating natural light, color, and movement into their works. ~ a Hudson Valley-based artist who has a passion for painting the beautiful scenery of the Hudson Valley, skilled with the palette and techniques of the Hudson River School artists of the mid-19th century. Wayward Ranch Animal Sanctuary - was founded by three friends who, after working for other rescues for a long time, realized there was something missing from the average rescue model. No animal is perfect, and in the typical shelter system any behavioral concerns an animal had coming in are just exacerbated the longer they are kenneled or caged waiting for a home. Wayward is committed to a different type of rescue experience. YMCA - Nurturing youth's potential and care of community. We believe all kids have potential and should have the opportunity to discover who they are, express themselves, and be nurtured in all their possibility. The YMCA is continuing their community mission and bring their bike program to the Walkway - come check out our booth. The YMCA Kingston and Ulster County is a private not-for-profit, community-based organization providing social, health, physical education and recreation services to the residents of Ulster County. YMCA programs includes school-age child care, health enhancement / fitness classes, summer camps, swim lessons for all ages, special scholarship programs for low-income youth and families & physical rehabilitation programs. The YMCA serves all groups from infants to seniors.
