Now in its 9th year, the Walnut City Music Festival is an all-volunteer effort to produce a home-grown, destination live music experience that connects the budding music scene of McMinnville, Oregon, with celebrated acts from around the country.

The festival started in McMinnville's historic Granary District, moved to the City Park, and, in 2022, set up on the campus of the renowned Evergreen Aviation & Space Museum. Also new in 2022 was the addition of the Home Grown stage, showcasing local talent throughout the weekend.

The entrance to the festival is in the back of the main parking area between the Aviation and Space museum buildings. The grounds are mostly flatten dirt, so blankets, short lawn chairs and closed shoes are recommended.

There is ample parking at the museum complex. For those who want to park in downtown McMinnville, a shuttle is in the works.
