With 2022 coming to a close, we want to say thank you for such a great year. Thousands of patrons visited the library, checked out materials, attended programs, and so much more. This year was truly one for the books! We wish you a very happy New Year, and we can't wait to see you back here in the library in 2023.
The year isn't over yet though! End 2022 with an exciting challenge – take part in the Winter Reading Program. Sign up now on Beanstack and start logging your books for a chance to win prizes. Titles can be logged until January 31.
Winter Wreath Making Class
On Tuesday, January 10, join Librarian Faith as she shows participants how to create sparkly, festive, winter-themed wreaths! Registration is required and begins one week before the session.
Rainbow Room Book Club
On Wednesday, January 11, join us for a book club featuring LGBTQ+ books and authors where everyone can feel safe and welcome. Come discuss the book Light from Uncommon Stars by Ryka Aoki. No registration required. Snacks will be provided.
SHINE: Serving Health Insurance Needs of Elders
On Monday, January 9, SHINE is sharing how they can help individuals find vital insurance information for elders. Stop by, ask questions, and learn how you can benefit. The information session will take place in the auditorium on the third floor. No registration required.
Planning and Planting: A Grassy Waters Speaker Series
On Tuesday, January 10, find out how you can attract birds and pollinators to your yard! Learn how to start your own native wildflower garden with a hands-on planting experience from representatives of Grassy Waters Preserve. No registration required.
Did You Know?
In January, we're kicking off a new reading challenge for adults – and there will be prizes! Get ready for monthly book bingo and chances to win gift cards to local restaurants. The Adult Reading Program will begin in January & end in September 2023. Register on Beanstack starting New Year's Day!

Little Stitches
Tuesday, January 3 | 4:00 PM – 5:00 PM | In Person | Kids | KidSpace
For kids in grades 3-5. Join Ms. Jillian to learn the basics of hand-sewing. In this class designed for little hands, learn how to safely handle a needle and thread while making small, hand-stitched masterpieces.
