What Virginians Are Watching: Spanberger Declared Democratic Nominee for Governor, DPVA Ready to Flip Governor’s Mansion

On Thursday, former Congresswoman Abigail Spanberger became the Democratic nominee for Governor of Virginia. She will appear on the general election ballot. DPVA Chairman Lamont Bagby said the party is “ready to make Abigail Spanberger our next governor” as she continues traveling across the Commonwealth campaigning on strengthening schools, protecting Virginia jobs, lowering costs, and keeping our communities safe.
