What's Coming Up At Calvary Christian Church - May 18, 2023

Holy Spirit Conference is a weekend set aside for ministers and their congregations to have a fresh encounter with the Holy Spirit. Attendees will be empowered to fulfill the mission of God in their personal lives, church, and community. Special guest, Evangelist Tim Enloe, who has articles published in the Pentecostal magazine (which will be offered to all attendees) will be sharing in both the main sessions and panel discussion. Network Superintendent, Rev. Nicholas Fatato, and Senior Pastor of Calvary Christian Church, Rev. Timothy Schmidt, will be sharing in the panel discussion and over lunch. Married Life invites all engaged and married couples to Couples Connect on Saturday, June 03 at 2:00PM – 5:00PM in the sanctuary and foyer hallways. Join us for a time of intentional connection with other couples as we have some fun, sip on some coffee, and just enjoy building new relationships. We will have a coffee and tea bar with delicious snacks and treats, fun tabletop games, some group games, and of course, some incredible GIVEAWAYS! Village has partnered with Centerboard, a group home and community center in Lynn that houses foster youth. We are organizing a cleanup and restoration of one of their homes and are looking for able bodied volunteers to help. This project will provide the staff and youth with a revitalized outdoor space they can be proud of. People with landscaping skills and/or equipment would be a bonus and greatly appreciated. Please make plans to join us on Saturday, May 06 for the clean-up portion and Saturday, May 20 for the restoration portion. Additionally, we are looking for men to participate in Centerboard’s Mentorship Program for foster boys. Encounter Night is our monthly young adult service for anyone ages 18-35 where we come together for a single purpose: to encounter God. Whether you’re looking for emotional or physical healing, deliverance from addictions or past hurts, or just want to spend time in God’s presence…Encounter Night is the place to be! Please join us on Sunday, May 21 and every third Sunday of the month in the sanctuary. Doors open at 6:30PM and our service starts at 7:00PM.
