Wichita, KS - The Wichita Police Department is actively investigating the tragic hit and run death of 52 year old James. Dolton., who was fatally struck by a vehicle in the 2400 block of Seneca Street. The incident occurred just after 9:40 p.m. on January 8, 2024.

The victim, James Dolton, was transported to an area hospital by Sedgwick County EMS, where, unfortunately, he succumbed to the injuries sustained during the accident.

Preliminary investigations suggest that a gray vehicle may have been involved in the incident and could possibly have sustained front-end damage as well as damage to the front windshield.
