Kentucky’s fall wildfire season officially comes to an end Sunday, temporarily closing out a prohibition on daytime burning. Wildfire season, which is defined by Kentucky statute, is from Oct. 1 through Dec. 15 and Feb. 15 through April 30. During those periods, outdoor burning within 150 feet of a woodlot or brushland, is prohibited.Copyright 2023 The Crittenden Press
