In a new interview with the Associated Press, Winsome Earle-Sears “backed Trump’s effort” that threatens the jobs of thousands of Virginians instead of standing up for Virginia. Sears made the comment amidst health clinic closures due to Trump’s funding freeze that are preventing Virginians from accessing the care they need. 

“It’s crystal clear where Winsome Earle-Sears stands - with Trump and Republican leadership, regardless of what it means for the Commonwealth. Virginians need a governor who will put the Commonwealth first instead of a partisan political agenda dictated by Trump,” said DPVA Spokesperson Maggie Amjad.
