From: Christmas at the End of The RoadThis magical celebration begins Thanksgiving weekend and marks the beginning of the Christmas season for the Methow Valley citizens and its many visitors. Family and friends come from afar to join in and share this wonderful time of year.

Schedule Of Events:
FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 24:
10-5 Visitor’s Information Center will be open for answering questions
Local shops will be available for shopping locally this holiday season.
6–8 pm – Skate with Santa at the Winthrop Rink
SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 25:
All Day – Local shops, Visitor’s Information Center, and the Winthrop Ice Rink will be open. Check with the individual business for hours.
11 am – 6 pm – Booster Club Fundraiser selling brats, polish dogs, coffee, apple cider, and baked goods in front of Sheri’s Sweet Shoppe.
12 pm-4 pm – The Shafer Museum is open with activities for kids
12 pm – Santa arrives in town on a horse-drawn carriage.
1-4 pm – Free photos with Santa and kids activities at the Winthrop Barn Auditorium & Wagon rides starting at the Barn.
1–4 pm – Free hot chocolate stand in front of Townhall thanks to Coldwell Banker Winthrop Realty
5 pm – Town lighting – All of the shops in town will turn on their lights on Riverside Avenue
6 pm – Fireworks Extravaganza. A spectacular 20-minute fireworks display is viewable from downtown Winthrop. Online viewing of the fireworks is available on our Facebook Page. Click here.
