Doors open for exhibitors at 8:00 a.m.Friday and Saturday. This is a two-day show. Exhibitors must be ready at 9a.m. and remain open during all show hours. Exhibitors havefrom 5p.m. to 6p.m
Woodcarving Competition. Open Category Judging begins at 9:30 a.m. on Friday; NoviceCategory immediately follows the Open judging. Judging is byteams that are trained and assigned by the EOWA. Opencompetition is only for exhibitors present at the show. Awards willbe presented immediately following category judging.
A.b. Smith Memorial Carving Contest. A carving contest, open to all exhibitors and EOWA membersassisting in show functions, will be held on Saturday, from 11 a.m.to 12:15. Contestants are limited to one knife (tool), one pencil,and one sharpening device. A blank, the subject of which remainssecret until contest time, is furnished at no charge. Judging and Awards will be made at the close of the contest.
