From: Yolo County GovernmentWoodland, CA – YoloWorks! has launched a new Virtual Employment Center that connects Yolo County jobseekers to career services in an innovative, easy to navigate online platform. Additionally, local businesses can use the Virtual Employment Center to help with recruitment and job postings, find information about wage reimbursement programs and more.
To get started, Yolo County jobseekers or local businesses can visit www.yoloworks.org and either select the pop-up window or chatbot to schedule an appointment.
Services offered to Yolo County residents through a one-on-one meeting with an employment specialist or Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) case manager include:
- Resume Assistance
- Interview Skills and Techniques
- Job Search Assistance
- Career Planning
- Information on training opportunities
Services offered for local businesses, with assistance from a WIOA business services specialist, include:
- Job Posting Assistance
- CalJobs Assistance
- Wage Reimbursement Program Information
- Job Fair/Recruitment Information
- Business Closure/Layoff Assistance
The Virtual Employment Center, developed on Google Cloud, is a joint partnership of the Yolo County Workforce Innovation Board, Yolo County Health and Human Services Agency (HHSA) and the American Job Centers of California (YoloWorks!
