11th Annual Rene Jones Memorial Buddy Walk
The Down Syndrome Information Network of the Twin Tiers will hold the Rene Jones Memorial Buddy Walk on September 6th, 2014 at Eldridge Park , Elmira , New York .
The Buddy Walk is a one-mile walk in which anyone can participate without special training. It is a wonderful, heart-warming event that celebrates the many abilities and accomplishments of people with Down syndrome.
Details of the Walk:
When: September 6th, 2014
Where: Eldridge Park, Elmira NY
Registration on the day of the walk is 9-10:00 a.m.
Short Program & Raffle 10:30 a.m.
1 mile walk around the lake 10:45 a.m.
Free Carousel Rides, Free lunch,popcorn,cotton candy, Book giveaway,Therapy items giveaway, Carnival games, basket raffle, and face painting 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
