Fiesta del Sol Solana Beach California

Presented by the Solana Beach Chamber of Commerce, Fiesta del Sol attracts more than 50,000 festival-goers to the seaside city of Solana Beach, California. This year's festival dates are Saturday, June 4 and Sunday, June 5.

The 32nd annual event takes place adjacent to Fletcher Cove in Solana Beach within the area bordered by South Sierra Avenue and Acacia Avenue. The free two-day fiesta opens each morning at 9am with the arts & crafts fair and closes each evening at 10pm after the conclusion of the last musical performance.

Among the many attractions at this family-oriented festival: wide range of musical performers booked by the famed Belly Up Tavern, an eclectic array of arts and crafts exhibits, merchant booths, children's activities, an international-themed food court, an adults-only beer and wine beverage garden and a "Green Alley" featuring environmentally-friendly products and services.

The Fiesta rocks several square blocks in Solana Beach with a diverse musical showcase providing continuous live music. The lineup is rich with rock, reggae, soul, funk, jazz, blues, Latin and worldbeat, to name a few, spanning cultures and countries from Africa to Brazil to the USA.
