Albums of Hope, a 501(c)(3) charity organization,  donates pocket-sized albums filled with uplifting quotes and photos to local hospitals and cancer treatment centers.

Albums of Hope began as a personal mission, a mission to feel helpful during a time when we often feel helpless against cancer. In 2008, founder Laura Townsend's husband Brad was diagnosed with colorectal cancer. As his disease progressed, my role as caregiver became more demanding but yet, I still felt helpless in bringing him comfort. So, with help from family and friends, we turned our love of beautiful photos and scrapbooking into a way to help by creating albums to give to patients at cancer treatment and support centers.

Our dedicated group of volunteers gathers several times a year to assemble albums. Our volunteers are fueled by the knowledge that these little albums are making a big difference in the lives of those fighting the tough fight against cancer.
