The Alexandria Central School District is a rural school district located in the heart of the Thousands Islands region of the St. Lawrence River in Alexandria Bay, NY. The village is a major tourist attraction situated on the U.S. and Canadian border, just five miles north of the Thousands Islands International Bridge and Interstate 81. It is approximately 28 miles north of Watertown and Ft. Drum, 100 miles north of Syracuse and 30 miles east of Kingston, Ontario, Canada.
