To promote interest in and preservation of the history of Allegany State Park and recognition of its relationship to and role in the heritage of New York State and Western New York by engaging in such activities as, but limited to. Discovery, collection, and display of the significant materials that illustrate or demonstrate Allegany's heritage.Cooperation with other agencies with similar goals.Dissemination of historical information through programs, demonstrations, etc.Marking historical buildings, sites, trails, etc., and encouraging such activities by appropriate entities
