About:
The Alliance for Conservation Easements ( ACE) currently holds conservation easements on 12 separate properties ranging in size from 1.3 acres-270.819 acres. These properties are located along the Texas coast and prairie from Jefferson County in the northeast to Aransas County in the south. A variety of habitats are being preserved including bottomland hardwoods, freshwater herbaceous wetlands, estuarine spartina marsh, forested riverine, and uplands. In some cases the habitats are being preserved in their current state such as our estuarine spartina marsh in Aransas County. In other cases habitats are being created such as our freshwater herbaceous wetlands in Waller County.
MISSION STATEMENT: The Alliance for Conservation Easements (ACE) is dedicated to hold conservation easements for property owners interested in land conservation in an effort to protect fractured valuable ecosystems and sensitive areas such as, but not limited to, Texas coastal marsh, wetlands, prairie, riparian corridors, and upland watersheds.
