The Alpha Pearl Foundation, Incorporated is a non-profit charitable organization established in 2004. The Foundation supports the philanthropic endeavors of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated, Xi Pi Omega Chapter. The Alpha Pearl Foundation is dedicated to implementing service programs that enhance the social, economic and educational well-being of our local, national and international communities.
While Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated has a well-known global brand, it had its beginnings as the vision of nine young collegiate women attending Howard University in 1908. Since then, the sorority has flourished into a globally-impactful organization of sisterhood beyond college campuses and is empowered by a commitment to servant-leadership. The sorority is both domestic and international in its scope with over 300,000 members. As Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated has grown, it continues to advocate for change and have a positive influence in communities. Many of our illustrious members are known community leaders, current presidential candidates, doctors, lawyers, educators, entrepreneurs, homemakers and college graduates who truly believe in service to all mankind.
The Alpha Pearls Foundation inconjuction with Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., Xi Pi Omega Chapter, partners with community organizations that make a difference in community and worldwide that provide aid and education to the underserved the Alpha Pearl Organization is known for its Annual College Scholarship Golf Tournatment which is held in May.
