About Us:

The Berks County Chapter of the American Red Cross -- created in 1917-- has been meeting material, financial and volunteer needs in times of war, in times of peace and in times of trouble. Over the years, the services offered by the chapter have grown and expanded in order to continue meeting the needs of our community. We now offer health and safety services, including CPR, first aid and AED training; provide assistance to people affected by home fires and other disasters; and provide aid to military families and veterans. With a core group of dedicated volunteers and strong community support, the Berks County Chapter is able to adhere to its mission of providing relief to victims of disaster and helping people prevent, prepare for and respond to emergencies.
